- check the condition of the splines on the driven disk hub and on the primary shaft of the gearbox, clean the splines and lubricate them with a thin layer of LSC-15 grease;
- install clutch 2 (figure 60), positioning the driven disk with the protruding part of the hub towards the pressure plate and centering the disk relative to the flywheel 1 with the A.70081 mandrel (3), simulating the splined end of the primary shaft of the gearbox (the primary shaft of the gearbox of previous VAZ models can also be used as a mandrel);
- lubricate the pedal bushings and the connection points of the spring booster with the pedal and bracket with Litol-24 consistent grease.
Figure 60. Centering the driven disc when installing the clutch
The clutch drive spring booster is disassembled and assembled only if necessary in the 67.7828.9531 device. During assembly, lubricate the pusher in the support hole and the pusher bushing with Litol-24 grease. After installing the clutch pedal on the car, it is necessary to remove the technological cotter pin securing the booster spring to the pusher.
