The elements for suppressing radio interference include high-voltage wires with distributed resistance of (2000±200) Ohm/m and a noise suppression resistor in the ignition distributor rotor with a resistance of 5000–6000 Ohm.
The serviceability of these elements is checked with an ohmmeter.
In addition, a noise suppression capacitor is installed on the generator, the testing of which is described in subsection 9.4.3.8.
High-voltage wires of the PVPPV-40 type can be installed in a contactless ignition system (blue color) with distributed resistance (2550±270) Ohm/m or type PVVP-8 (red color) with distributed resistance (2000±200) Ohm/m, as well as FE65PR or A17DVR spark plugs with 4–10 kOhm interference suppression resistors.
