Radio interference suppression elements — bench testing (VAZ-2108)

These elements include a 1 kOhm resistor in the ignition distributor rotor, a 2.2 μF capacitor in the generator, and high-voltage wires with resistance distributed along their length and with interference-suppressing resistors in the tips on the spark plug side.

The resistance of the resistors is 5.6±10% kOhm. The resistance of the wires is (2000±200) Ohm/m for PVVP-8 wires and (2550±270) Ohm/m for PVPPV-40 wires. The serviceability of the wires and resistors is checked with an ohmmeter, and checking the capacitor is described in Section "Generator".
