We install the device into the spring and tighten it.
Press out the lower ball joint from the steering knuckle. Move the hub on the upper ball joint to the side. Use a 22 mm wrench to loosen the lower arm axle nuts. (See. Replacing rubber-metal hinges of lower arms on a car).

After making sure that the spring coils are tightly pulled together, press the lower suspension arm down and remove the spring together with the device from the lower arm.

A rubber insulating gasket is installed on the top of the spring.
Replace the damaged gasket with a new one. The length of a serviceable spring in a free state should be 360 mm. Only identical springs with yellow markings on the outer surface of the coils (group A) are allowed to be installed on the front suspension.
The springs are installed in the reverse order of removal. We install the car on the wheels, then tighten the nuts of the lower arm axles.
