Fuses and fuses (VAZ-2110)

To access the mounting block 5 (Fig. 59), press button 1 and, holding cover 4, smoothly lower it down. The mounting block contains relays 2 of different purposes and fuses 3. A faulty fuse is determined by the failed circuits protected by this fuse, in accordance with Table 5. The current strength for which the fuse is designed is indicated on its front side, and the fuse number is indicated on the housing of the mounting block.



The new fuse must have a current rating in accordance with Table 5. To replace a blown fuse, remove the cover, use a special key to remove the blown fuse and insert a spare fuse from the socket with the appropriate rating. If the fuse fails again, contact a service center to determine and eliminate the reasons that caused it to melt.

Under the floor tunnel lining on the right side, a controller and relay blocks with fuses are additionally installed. Fuses of 15 A protect the injection system components.
