Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the right and left parts of the engine compartment trim (see "Engine compartment trim - removal and installation").
3. Unscrew the two nuts that secure the brake master cylinder to the vacuum booster housing (see above "Master Brake Cylinder - Removal and Installation").
4. Remove the vacuum supply hose from the booster check valve branch pipe.

5. With a socket wrench by 10 mm unscrew the nut securing the brake pipe holder on the left mudguard.

6. Carefully, without bending the tubes too much, move the cylinder forward and remove it from the vacuum booster studs.

7. Remove the two wire blocks from the terminals of the brake light switch installed on the pedal assembly.

8. With a socket wrench by 13 mm we unscrew the four nuts that secure the amplifier bracket to the car body.

9. Remove the amplifier assembly with the bracket and brake pedal.

10. Secure the amplifier bracket in a vice.
11. Using a slotted screwdriver, remove the fixing bracket of the booster rod fork pin.

12. Remove the finger.
13. With a spanner by 17 mm we unscrew the two nuts that secure the amplifier to the bracket.

14. Remove the amplifier from the bracket.

Installation
1. Install the amplifier in reverse order.
2. Install the master brake cylinder in place.
3. Check the operation of the vacuum booster (see "Brake booster - check").
