Removing
1. We prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the right and left parts of the upholstery of the engine compartment (see "Upholstery of the engine compartment - removal and installation").
3. We turn off two nuts of fastening of the main brake cylinder to the case of the vacuum booster (see above "Master brake cylinder - removal and installation").
4. We remove the vacuum supply hose from the branch pipe of the amplifier check valve.
5. socket wrench by 10 mm unscrew the nut securing the brake pipe holder on the left mudguard.
6. Carefully, without bending the tube too much, move the cylinder forward and remove it from the vacuum booster studs.
7. Remove the two blocks of wires from the terminals of the brake light switch installed on the pedal assembly.
8. socket wrench by 13 mm unscrew the four nuts securing the amplifier bracket to the car body.
9. Remove the amplifier assembly with the bracket and the brake pedal.
10. We fix the amplifier bracket in a vice.
11. Using a slotted screwdriver, remove the fixing bracket of the fork pin of the amplifier rod.
12. We take out a finger.
13. Ring wrench by 17 mm unscrew the two nuts securing the amplifier to the bracket.
14. Remove the amplifier from the bracket.
Installation
1. Install the amplifier in reverse order.
2. Install the main brake cylinder in place.
3. Check the operation of the vacuum booster (see "Vacuum brake booster - check").
