Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. With a socket wrench by 13 mm and using a spanner of the same size, unscrew the two nuts securing the buffer bracket.

3. Remove the bracket.

4. With a socket wrench by 13 mm we unscrew the two bolts that secure the traction platform to the cage, holding the nuts of the bolts with an open-end wrench of the same size.

5. With a socket wrench by 13 mm we unscrew the two bolts securing the rod bracket to the gearbox.

6. Remove the rod assembly from the vehicle.

Note: If necessary, any part of the rod can be removed separately (see below, "Jet thrust - disassembly and assembly").
Installation
We install the rod in the reverse order.
