Disassembly
1. Remove the jet thrust (see above, "Jet thrust - removal and installation").
If you plan to install a complete tie rod assembly on your vehicle, mark the relative positions of the tie rod and the eye with a marker, paint or center punch.
Otherwise, it will be possible to connect the rod to the eye only after they are installed on the vehicle (separately from each other). In this case, they will take the necessary position themselves.
2. With two keys by 13 mm we unscrew the nut of the tie bolt and loosen the clamp.
3. Disconnect the eye with the bracket from the rod.
4. Key by 13 mm we unscrew the nut securing the eye.
5. Remove the eye from the bracket.
6. Using a screwdriver, remove the rubber damper from the eye...
...and two plastic bushings.
Assembly
Having replaced the worn bushings and damper, we assemble the rod in the reverse order.
