When the primary shaft seal wears out, oil from the gearbox gets into the clutch housing. This can cause the clutch discs to become oily. The malfunction can be determined by the presence of leaks from under the lower part of the clutch housing cover.
Removal
1. Remove the gearbox (see "Gearbox - removal and installation").
2. Remove the clutch drive parts from the gearbox (see "Clutch - replacement").
3. With a socket wrench by 10 mm we unscrew the three bolts securing the release bearing guide sleeve.

4. Remove the sleeve from the primary shaft of the gearbox.

5. Carefully, so as not to scratch the primary shaft of the gearbox, punch through the oil seal with a small chisel or center punch.
6. Using thin pliers, remove the seal from the seat.

Installation
We lubricate the working edge of the new seal with transmission oil and press it in, using the old seal as a mandrel.
