Outdoor Lighting. The scheme for switching on outdoor lighting is shown below. The side light is switched on by the switch 6 for outdoor lighting. The side light and brake light lamps are powered through the K4 lamp health monitoring relay. If any lamp burns out, the relay turns on the corresponding LED signaling device in the display unit 12 of the on-board monitoring system. If the lamp health monitoring relay is not installed in the mounting block, then instead of it there should be contact jumpers shown by arrows.

Helpful tips: If the headlights suddenly start to shine dimly, and when the turn signal is turned on, the side light lamp starts flashing, restore contact «mass» body wires.
Get in the habit of changing bulbs regularly (especially the headlights). Over time, the bulb of the lamp becomes cloudy and the brightness of the lamp decreases. Moreover, this process is rather slow and the driver does not notice the gradual deterioration of road illumination.
Recently, there are more and more cars in which the headlights shine like a Christmas tree, with bright light with various shades of blue. All this is called the word «xenon» and is considered very cool. No doubt, xenon headlights, installed regularly on foreign cars, illuminate the road much better, and the car with them looks much more spectacular. It is not surprising that many are also trying to improve their car, especially since now there are many «xenon» lamps of various manufactures (most often Chinese). Do not buy cheap - such lamps have nothing to do with real xenon discharge lamps without incandescent filaments. These are ordinary lamps with stained glass. The light transmittance of such glass is much lower than that of standard lamps, the threads of fakes are usually not installed in focus, and a headlight with such a lamp, with external showiness, practically does not illuminate anything, and additionally mercilessly blinds oncoming drivers. In addition, manufacturers of such lamps, in order to compensate for the decrease in luminous flux, increase their power beyond the norm. Often their installation leads to melting of the wire insulation and burnout of the printed circuits of the mounting blocks. And a fire is also possible. Better not buy with your money «headache», and buy high-quality conventional lamps.
Sooner or later, the bulbs in the rear lights burn out. It would seem that what is easier is to take a new light bulb, suitable for the size of the base and voltage, and install it instead of the burned out one. However, please note that the rear lights use lamps with the same base, but different power: 4W and 21W. And this is not a significant trifle: 4-watt lamps are installed for side light, and 21-watt lamps are installed in direction indicators and brake lights. Don't confuse them. If you install low-wattage bulbs in your brake lights and turn indicators, other drivers simply won't see your signals in inclement weather. And powerful lamps in «dimensions» will be very disturbing to the drivers driving behind and irritate them. Their attitude towards you will be corresponding.
