Removal and installation the radiator (VAZ-1111)

The removal operations are performed on a cold engine. Open the heater tap (the crane drive handle is set to the extreme right position). Unscrew the drain plugs of the engine and radiator, remove the expansion tank plug and drain the coolant into a container. Disconnect the coolant supply and outlet hoses from the radiator. Disconnect the electrical wires from the electric fan and its sensor. Unscrew the upper radiator mount nuts and remove the bracket, tilt the radiator and remove the expansion tank hose. Remove the radiator assembly with the electric fan and disconnect the radiator casing assembly with the electric fan. If necessary, disconnect the electric fan.

Install the radiator in reverse order. After installation, fill in the coolant and check the tightness of the connections.
