It should turn on with the engine running when the coolant temperature gauge needle moves into the red zone of the scale. If the fan does not turn on, this indicates a fault in the electric fan switch sensor, switch relay, or electric motor itself. Data for checking the fan motor and sensor are provided in Section. "Electrical equipment".
