Checking and repairing the coolant pump (VAZ-1111)

Remove deposits from the impeller and housing, wash the parts. Check the axial play of the bearing with the shaft, which should not exceed 0.13 mm under a load of 49 N. If the play is greater, the bearing with the shaft is replaced with new ones. Deformations and cracks on the housing are not allowed.

It is recommended to replace the pump seal and the gasket between the pump and the cylinder block with new ones after removing and disassembling the pump.
