Removal and installation the air filter (VAZ-1111)

To remove the air filter, loosen the clamps and remove the upper exhaust hose 9 from the filter pipes (figure 27) and corrugated hose 11. Unscrew the nuts securing the filter housing 2 to the cylinder head studs and the carburetor mounting nut, under which the filter mounting bracket is located. Remove the air filter assembly and close the carburetor inlet openings with a plug. If it is necessary to replace the filter element 4, it is only necessary to unscrew the nut 7, press the latches and remove the air filter cover 6.



The filter is installed in the reverse order.
