When disassembling the pump, unscrew the cover mounting bolt 9 (see figure 16), remove the cover and take out the fuel filter 6 of the pump. Then unscrew the screws securing the upper housing 7 of the pump and the lower housing 1 and disconnect them. Having turned the diaphragm assembly by 90°, take out the assembly and the spring.
If necessary, press out the axle and remove balancer 15, lever 16 and balancer spring. Unscrew rod nut 11 and remove the pump diaphragms.
The fuel pump is assembled in the reverse order.
When installing diaphragms, pay attention to the correct positioning of the holes relative to the holes in the lower pump housing.
