Assembly and installation of rear wheel brake mechanisms (VAZ-2105)

Install and secure the wheel cylinder on the shield, attach the pipeline to it and tighten the nut of its fitting until it stops. Attach the lever 7 (see fig. 203) manual brake shoe drive and install the brake shoes with spacer bar 8, then install struts 16 with springs and lower cups, put the upper cups and fix them on the struts by turning them in one direction or another. Make sure that the ends of the shoes are correctly positioned in the piston stop sockets of the wheel cylinder and on the shield. Attach the rear cable tip to lever 7. Install the brake drum, having previously lubricated the axle shaft seat belt with graphite lubricant or LSC-15 lubricant, and tighten the drum mounting bolts until they stop. If the wheel cylinder was removed during disassembly, bleed the air from the rear brake drive circuit.
