To remove the driveline, place the car on an inspection ditch (lift) and install wheel chocks. Release the parking brake lever, place the shift lever in neutral position, hang out both or one rear wheel and remove the safety bracket 24 (see fig. 126).
Install the clamp A.70025 on the flexible coupling and, turning the shaft, unscrew the nuts of the flange fastening bolts; remove the bolts and then the clamp.
Turn away nuts of bolts of fastening of a back cardan shaft to a flange of a leading gear wheel of the main transfer. Disconnect the parking brake cable equalizer return spring. Unscrew the nuts securing the intermediate support cross member to the floor of the body and remove the driveline towards the front of the vehicle.
Install the cardan transmission on the car in the reverse order.
