To remove the driveline, install the car on the inspection ditch (lift) and install wheel chocks. Release the handbrake, set the gearshift lever to neutral, hang both or one wheel and remove the safety bracket 24 (see fig. 76).
Install the clamp A.70025 on the elastic coupling (see fig. 67) and, turning the shaft, unscrew the nuts of the flange mounting bolts; remove the bolts, and then the clamp. Unscrew the nuts of the bolts securing the rear propeller shaft to the flange of the final drive gear. Disconnect the handbrake cable equalizer spring. Unscrew the nuts securing the cross member of the intermediate support to the floor of the body and remove the driveline in the direction of the front of the car.
