Before proceeding with the replacement of the oil seal, install the car on a lift and remove the gearbox (see sect. «Transmission»). Unscrew the bolts securing the clutch cover to the flywheel and remove the cover assembly with the pressure plate. This releases the clutch disc.
Block the flywheel with a retainer 67.7820.9526 (see fig. 29), unscrew the flywheel mounting bolts and remove it. Remove the old crankshaft rear oil seal from the holder, put a new oil seal on the mandrel 67.7853.9572. Then the oil seal is moved from the mandrel to the crankshaft flange and a new oil seal is pressed in with mandrel 67.7853.9581, lubricating it with engine oil. As a mandrel, you can use a pipe with an outer diameter of 104 mm and an inner diameter of 81 mm. Install the flywheel in place in the same position as it was on the engine, i.e., so that the mark (hole) near the rim was against the axis of the connecting rod journal of the 4th cylinder. Having blocked the flywheel with a latch 67.7820.9526, fix it with bolts, installing a washer under them.
Install and fasten the clutch on the flywheel, placing the driven disk with the protruding part of the hub towards the pressure disk. Center the disc relative to the flywheel with mandrel A.700081 (see fig. 60) and install the gearbox (see sect. «Transmission»).
