Disassembly and assembly of the front door (VAZ-2108)

Remove the front door trim (see section. "Removal and installation front door trim"), the outside rearview mirror adjustment handle, the interior trim and, having unscrewed the mounting screws, remove the mirror. Remove the lowering window seals from the door, remove the protective aprons through the holes in the inner panel. Unscrew the mounting screws and remove the lowering window guide grooves downwards. Then unscrew the lowering window mounting screws, unscrew the window regulator mounting nuts, remove the window regulator and take out the lowering window through the top.

Disconnect rods 3, 4 and 13 from the door lock (see figure 161) the switch of the lock, the outer and inner door handles. Unscrew the fastening nuts and remove the outer door handle. Unscrew the screws and remove the door lock. Remove the inner door handle assembled with the bracket, having first unscrewed the fastening screws.

If necessary, unscrew the mounting screws and remove the door opening limiter.

The door is assembled in reverse order.
