The oil level indicator (dipstick) is located on the left side of the engine compartment next to the battery.
Before starting, place the vehicle on a level surface.

1. Remove the oil level indicator (dipstick) from the gearbox.

2. Wipe the pointer (dipstick) with a cloth.

3. Insert the pointer into place until it stops and remove it again. The oil level, determined by the oil film, should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks on the pointer (lower and upper projections).

4. If the oil level is below the "MIN" mark, add oil through the hole under the pointer up to the "MAX" mark. Insert the pointer back into place.

5. If the gearbox does not have an oil level indicator, the oil level should reach the lower edge of the oil filler hole. To check the level, you need to unscrew the oil filler plug from the gearbox housing from underneath the car.
