Removal
1. Prepare the car for repair work.
2. On late production cars (in which the upper crossbar of the front panel has bends and additional shields above the headlights) remove the battery.
3. Disconnect the wire connector from the windshield washer reservoir fluid level sensor (1). Disconnect the connectors of the two wires (2) of the windshield washer pump, having previously marked the connector connected to the "+" terminal.
4. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew the nut of the rear windshield washer reservoir mount.
5. Using the same wrench, unscrew the bolt of the front fastening of the windshield washer reservoir. On cars of recent years of production, the front fastening of the washer reservoir is made in the form of a stud with a nut.
6. Lift the washer reservoir and disconnect the hose from the pump.
Installation
We install the windshield washer reservoir and all removed parts on the car in the reverse order.
