Note. The contacts of the washer fluid level sensor must be closed if there is less than one liter of fluid left in the washer reservoir. If the corresponding signaling device in the display unit of the on-board monitoring system does not light up, then the conclusions in the connector itself may have oxidized, a break in the wire, or the sensor is faulty. To verify the integrity of the sensor wires, it is enough to close the terminals of the connector. If the wires are good, then the indicator should light up. A defective washer fluid level sensor should be replaced.
Removing
1. We prepare the car for repair work.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the sensor.
3. Turn off the cap of the washer reservoir. Removing the sensor float from the washer reservoir, remove the sensor. We replace the defective washer fluid level sensor as an assembly.
Installation
We install a new washer fluid level sensor in the washer reservoir and all the removed parts in reverse order.
