Removal
1. Drain the coolant from the car (see items 1-7 "Replacing the coolant").
2. Remove the air filter (see "Air filter - removal and installation").
3. After loosening the clamps, disconnect the radiator hose from the thermostat housing cover.

4. We also disconnect the coolant pump pipe.

5. Using a 5 mm Allen key, unscrew the three bolts securing the thermostat cover.

6. Remove the thermostat cover.

7. If necessary, press on the top plate of the thermostat, turn it, removing the edges of the plate from engagement with the thermostat cover posts.
8. Remove the top plate and rubber sealing ring from the thermostat cover.

We replace the damaged thermostat cover sealing ring.
Installation
We install the thermostat and all removed parts on the car in the reverse order.
