Advice. The key can be made from a Phillips screwdriver (size no. 3). To do this, put a 17 mm wrench nut on the screwdriver blade and weld the nut by electric welding in the middle of the blade
Removing
1. We prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Using a collar with a removable cross tip, loosen the two screws of the lock.
3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the top screw of the lock and screw in its place a stud with an M8 thread.
Warning! The stud will support the inside of the lock. When doing the following, do not push the pin into the door. Otherwise, you will have to remove the door trim.
4. Unscrew the bottom screw of the lock and remove the lock from the pin.
Installation
1. We put a new outer part of the lock on the hairpin.
2. Hold the inside of the lock by the pin, use a large Phillips screwdriver to tighten the bottom screw of the lock.
3. Having unscrewed the pin, we wrap the top screw of the lock in its place.
4. Using a collar with a removable cross tip, we finally tighten the screws securing the lock.
