Comment. The location and purpose of the switches installed in the instrument panel and in the floor tunnel overlay is shown in the section "Governing bodies".
In the doorways on the front and middle pillars, there are switches for the lamp of the ceiling lamp for interior lighting. When the door is closed, the switch opens the connection between the interior light bulb and the "weight" and the lamp goes out.
Recommendation. Keep an eye on the serviceability of the interior lamp switches, as usually the car's security system is connected to them. If the switch fails, the security system will stop responding to the opening of the corresponding door.
The reversing light switch is located in the gearbox housing next to the starter. When reverse gear is engaged, the switch contacts are closed, supplying voltage to the corresponding lamps in the rear lights.
The brake light switch is located under the instrument panel on the brake pedal bracket. With recessed switch stem (brake pedal released) its contacts are open, and when the stem is extended (brake pedal pressed) - closed.
