To carry out the work, an inspection pit or overpass is required.
Attention! Before starting repairs, make sure that the system elements are not hot.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. With a deep-head socket wrench by 13 mm we unscrew the nuts of the two clamp bolts of the main muffler clamp, holding the bolts with an open-end wrench of the same size.

3. Remove the clamp and take out the sealing ring.
4. Remove the cushions from the muffler brackets (see "Muffler suspension cushions - replacement") and remove the muffler from the opening between the bottom of the body and the rear suspension beam.
Installation
We install the muffler in the reverse order. If necessary, we replace damaged or loose muffler suspension pads.
