To carry out the work, an inspection pit or overpass is required.
Attention! Before starting repairs, make sure that the system elements are not hot.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the engine splash guard (see "Engine Mudguard - Removal and Installation").
3. Disconnect the exhaust pipe from the additional muffler (see "Metal-graphite sealing ring - replacement").
4. Bend back the edges of the lock washer (1) and protective screen (2).
5. With a spanner by 13 mm unscrew the three nuts.
6. Remove the lock washer and protective screen.
7. Remove the exhaust pipe.
8. Remove the gasket from the catalytic manifold studs.
Installation
We install the intake pipe in the reverse order. We replace damaged gaskets and the metal-graphite ring.
