ring wrench «at 13» unscrew the bolt securing the front support bracket to the intake pipe.
Turning the key «at 13» the nut of the support bracket to the bracket of the right support of the power unit,...
...remove the front intake pipe support bracket.
ring wrench «at 13» unscrew the bolt securing the rear support bracket to the intake pipe.
Loosen the top starter bolt (see Removing the starter),...
... remove the rear support bracket from the intake pipe.
Removing the fuel rail (see Removing the fuel rail).
Disconnect the intake pipe from the exhaust manifold (see Removing the downpipe).
ring wrench «at 13» unscrew the nut securing the front eye of the power unit...
...and remove the eye.
ring wrench «at 13» unscrew the two end nuts (one on each side) inlet pipe heat shield to cylinder head..
...and one middle fastening nut.
ring wrench «at 13» unscrew the nut of the lower screen fastening to the exhaust manifold.
Remove the heat shield from the intake pipe.
ring wrench «at 13» unscrew the two end nuts (one on each side) intake pipe to cylinder head...
...and two top mounting nuts.
head «at 13» with an extension, unscrew the two nuts of the lower fastening of the intake pipe.
Remove the washers from the mounting studs.
Thickened washers are installed on the studs at the junction of the intake pipe and the exhaust manifold.
Remove the intake pipe from the cylinder head studs.
key «at 13» unscrew the nut securing the starter heat shield to the exhaust manifold.
key «at 13» unscrew the bolt securing the screen to the bracket of the right support of the power unit...
... and take the screen away from the exhaust manifold.
ring wrench «at 13» unscrew the fixing nut «negative» battery wires...
... and remove the wire tip from the cylinder head stud.
head «at 13» unscrew the two end nuts (one on each side) exhaust manifold.
key «at 13» Loosen the middle manifold nut.
Using pliers, we remove the bracket for fastening the outlet pipe of the heater radiator from the exhaust manifold.
Removing the exhaust manifold...
...and the intake pipe and exhaust manifold gasket.
Before installation, we clean the mating surfaces of the cylinder head, intake pipe and exhaust manifold from the remnants of the old gasket and soot.
After installing a new gasket, we assemble in the reverse order. Lubricate the cylinder head studs with graphite grease.
