2. Remove the toothed pulley from the crankshaft.

3. To avoid losing the key, remove it from the groove.

Warning: When removing the oil seal, do not scratch the working surface of the crankshaft.
4. Using a hook or pliers with thin curved jaws, pry the seal out of the mounting hole.

5. Apply clean engine oil to the working edge of the new oil seal and press it in through a mandrel or a piece of pipe of a suitable diameter so that the outer edge of the oil seal is flush with the edge of its mounting hole.

6. Insert the key into the groove of the crankshaft.
7. Install the toothed pulley on the shaft.
Warning! When installing the pulley, make sure that the key does not fall out of its seat.
8. Install the timing belt and crankshaft pulley in the reverse order of removal and adjust the belt tension (see "Timing Belt - Checking Condition and Adjusting Tension").
