Removing
1. We install the car on a viewing hole or overpass (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair") and turn on 1st gear.
2. Remove the engine splash guard (see "Mudguard - removal and installation").
3. Remove the alternator drive belt (see "Alternator drive belt - tension adjustment and replacement").
4. Special key at 38 mm unscrew the nut securing the crankshaft pulley.
5. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
6. Using a screwdriver, pry off the crankshaft oil seal and remove it from the timing cover.
Installation
1. Lubricate the working edge of the new oil seal with engine oil and press it into the cover through the mandrel (as a mandrel, you can use an old stuffing box or a piece of pipe of a suitable diameter).
2. Install all removed parts in reverse order.
3. Adjust the tension of the generator drive belt (see "Alternator drive belt - tension adjustment and replacement").
