In this case, it is recommended to «retraining» the second remaining working key so that the lost key cannot be used for the purpose of car theft.
Then you can purchase a second key and re- «retrain» system with two keys. «Retraining» carry out in the order described in subsection «Procedure «learning» immobilizer». The only difference is that when the ignition is turned on at the beginning of the procedure, the system status indicator will flash at a rate of 2 times per second.
2. Loss «teaching» red key.
In this case, it is impossible to carry out the procedure «learning» new keys. This means that you can continue to operate the car with the existing working keys, however, if they are lost or if the immobilizer control unit malfunctions, you will have to replace both the APS control unit and the engine control controller with new ones, «untrained». With such a replacement, you can take a new training key and carry out the procedure «learning» anti-theft system with a working code key.
Warning! Due to the importance «teaching» It is recommended to keep the key in a safe place at home.
3. Replacing a faulty anti-theft control unit (immobilizer).
After replacing a faulty immobilizer with a new one, it is necessary to carry out the procedure «learning» system described in subsection «Procedure «learning» immobilizer». In this case, use the already existing learning key from the faulty immobilizer. However, there is a difference in paragraph 1 of the section «learning», which lies in the fact that after the ignition is turned on, the LED flashes at a frequency of 1 time per second.
4. Replacing a faulty controller.
A defective controller can be replaced with a new one («clean»). It will allow the engine to start regardless of the immobilizer. To activate the anti-theft function, you must follow the procedure described in paragraph 1 («Lost working black key»), using the available «teaching» and working keys.
5. The engine does not start.
If, after disarming the anti-theft system, the LED of the system status indicator flashes at a frequency of 1 or 5 times per second when the engine is started, and the engine does not start, then the anti-theft system is faulty or there is no communication between the immobilizer unit and the engine management system controller.
If, when starting the engine, the LED flashes 1-2 times and goes out, but the engine still does not start, then the malfunction is not related to the anti-theft system.
6. Delay control for turning off the interior lighting.
This function allows you to keep the interior lighting for some time after closing the car door, which makes it easier for the driver to work at night. The light switch must be in the off position for this feature to work. In this position, when the driver's door is opened, the dome lights up and stays on as long as the driver's door is open.
If the ignition of the car is not turned on, then after closing the driver's door, the lamp remains on for another 12 seconds, after which it goes out smoothly for 4 seconds.
If the door is closed with the car's ignition on, the ceiling will turn off immediately after the door is closed.
If, during the operation of the lamp off delay, turn the ignition key to the position «included», the lamp goes out without delay.
If the door is opened again during the lamp off delay, the lamp turns on and stays on as long as the door is open.
