The procedure becomes possible only if the car owner himself allows it by programming a "bypass password" consisting of six digits. Depending on which controller is installed in the car, "learning" the "bypass password" and the method of bypassing the immobilization is performed in two different ways.
If the MP7.0 Bosch controller is installed, program the "bypass password" in the following order:
1. Anti-theft system in the security mode. Prepare a six-digit password that you want to "teach" the system. Each digit can be from 1 to 9.
2. Turn on the ignition. Lamp "Check Engine" in the instrument cluster will light up continuously. The system status indicator LED will start flashing twice per second.
3. Bring "your" red key to the system status indicator and, holding it near the indicator, turn off the ignition. The LED will light up with a steady light and you will hear a beep. Remove the key from the indicator.
4. 3–5 seconds after the ignition is turned off, the indicator LED will start flashing at a frequency of 10 times per second.
5. No later than 10 seconds after the LED starts flashing, turn on the ignition, the lamp "Check Engine" will start blinking at a frequency of 1 time per second, which indicates entering the "bypass password" input mode.
6. Wait 4 minutes until the lamp flashes "Check Engine". Then the lamp will turn off for 1 min. During this time, enter the first digit of the password by pressing the accelerator pedal all the way down. You need to press it as many times as the first digit of the password you are entering. Each time you press the pedal, the lamp lights up "Check Engine". After a minute, the lamp will start flashing again for another 4 minutes.
7. Wait 4 minutes until the lamp flashes "Check Engine", then repeat the procedure for entering the number for the second digit of the password - and so on until the last sixth digit of the password is entered. If any number is not entered, then after 1 minute the lamp will start flashing at a frequency of 1.5 times per second. In this case, it is necessary to turn off the ignition for at least 15 seconds, then start "training" again. If all the numbers are entered correctly, then after the last minute the lamp "Check Engine" will not light up again.
8. Turn off the ignition for at least 15 seconds.
Warnings! The entered "bypass password" has no application restrictions, i.e. a password programmed once can be used multiple times. If the password entry is not completed to the end, it is not remembered. If it is necessary to prohibit a previously programmed alternative engine start procedure, then steps 1–5 should be repeated, but in step 6 do not press the accelerator pedal. After 1 minute, allotted for entering the first digit of the password, the lamp "Check Engine" will start flashing at a frequency of 1.5 times per second. Turn off the ignition for at least 20 s. The previously programmed password will be erased.
Use the entered "bypass password" in the following order:
1. Turn on the ignition. Lamp "Check Engine" burns constantly.
2. Wait 4 minutes until the lamp goes out "Check Engine".

3. Within 1 minute, enter the first digit of the "bypass password" by pressing the accelerator pedal as many times as the first digit. Each time you press the pedal, the lamp "Check Engine" lights up.
4. If the number is entered correctly, then after 1 minute the lamp "Check Engine" will turn on and will remain lit for another 4 minutes. If the number is entered incorrectly, the lamp will flash at a frequency of 1.5 times per second, which means that the bypass procedure has been cancelled; in this case, you should turn off the ignition and return to step 1.
5. Repeat steps 2–4 for the next five digits of the "bypass password".
6. After the last minute of entering the password number, without turning off the ignition, start the engine.
Warnings! The controller will operate in the immobilization "bypass" mode until it is completely switched off, which occurs 15 seconds after the ignition is turned off.
The engine can be started multiple times if 15 seconds have not passed since the ignition was turned off; after this time, starting the engine becomes impossible without performing the "bypass" procedure.
If the "January-5.1" or M1.5.4 controller is installed, program the "bypass password" in the following order:
1. The anti-theft system is in the security mode. Prepare a six-digit password that you want to "teach" the system. Each digit can be from 1 to 9.
2. Turn on the ignition. Lamp "Check Engine" in the instrument cluster will light up with a steady light. The system status indicator LED will start flashing twice per second.
3. Bring "your" red key to the system status indicator and, holding it, turn off the ignition. The LED will start to glow steadily and the buzzer will give a short beep.
4. 3–5 seconds after the ignition is turned off, the indicator LED will start flashing at a frequency of 10 times per second.
5. No later than 10 seconds after the LED starts flashing, turn on the ignition of the car, the lamp "Check Engine" will light up with a steady light.
6. Wait 1 minute for the lamp to "Check Engine" will not go out. Enter the first digit of the password by briefly pressing the accelerator pedal all the way down. You need to press it as many times as the first digit of the password you are entering. Each time you press the pedal, the lamp lights up "Check Engine". The time the pedal is held down should not exceed 3 seconds.
7. To proceed to entering the next digit, press the accelerator pedal all the way down and hold it in this position until the lamp "Check Engine" will not go out (approximately 5 sec). Release the accelerator pedal.
Warning! If the lamp "Check Engine" did not go out, but began to blink at a frequency of 1 time per second, which means that an error occurred when entering the password number: for example, you pressed the accelerator pedal more than 9 times or did not press the pedal at all for 1 minute. In this case, you need to turn off the ignition for at least 10 seconds and start "learning" the "bypass password" again.
8. Enter the remaining five digits of the password. After entering each digit and holding the accelerator pedal down for more than 5 seconds, the lamp "Check Engine" should go out. If the lamp is blinking, you should turn off the ignition for at least 10 seconds and then start learning the "bypass password" again.
9. Turn off the ignition for at least 10 seconds.
Warnings! The entered "bypass password" has no restrictions on use - once programmed, it can be used many times.
If the password entry is not completed, it is not remembered.
If you want to prohibit the immobilization "bypass" mode programmed earlier, you should repeat steps 2–6, but when performing step 6, hold the accelerator pedal for more than 5 seconds when you first press it. The previously programmed "bypass password" is erased.
Use the entered "bypass password" in the following order:
1. Turn on the ignition. Lamp "Check Engine" burns constantly.
2. Wait 1 minute until the lamp "Check Engine" will not go out. If the lamp continues to burn, the bypass procedure is prohibited and cannot be performed.
3. After the lamp "Check Engine" goes out, start entering the "bypass password" as described in paragraphs 6–8. If after entering the last digit and holding the accelerator pedal pressed for more than 5 seconds the lamp "Check Engine" continues to burn, then you can start the engine; if the lamp is blinking, the password was entered incorrectly - repeat the procedure.
Warnings! Lamp "Check Engine" lights up constantly when the engine is running, if the engine was started by performing the immobilization "bypass" procedure. The controller will operate in the immobilization "bypass" mode until it is completely switched off, which occurs 5 seconds after the ignition is turned off. The engine can be started multiple times if no more than 5 seconds have passed since the ignition was turned off; after this time, starting the engine becomes impossible without performing the "bypass" procedure.
