Before starting work: Remove the rear wheel brake pads.
Attention! Replace the cable with a new one if you find that the threads of the cable 1 are frayed, the fastening of the ends 2 is loosened, or the sheath 3 is damaged.
1. Loosen the bolt and nut securing the two cable holders (spring washers are installed under them).
2. Please note: the front holder is inserted into the slot of the bracket.
3. Remove the cable from the hole in the brake shield.
4. Loosen the locknut and adjusting nut of the equalizer.
5. Remove the equalizer from the rod and...
6.... remove the tip of the cable from it.
7. Using a screwdriver, pry the cable sheath lug bushing out of the bracket.
8. Unbend the three brackets and remove the cable. Install the new cable in the reverse order of removal and adjust its tension.
