Before you start working: Remove the rear brake pads.

Attention! Replace the cable with a new one if you find that the cable threads 1 are frayed, the fastening of the tips 2 is loose, or the sheath 3 is damaged.

1. Loosen the bolt and nut securing the two cable holders (spring washers are installed underneath them).

2. Please note: The front holder is inserted into the slot of the bracket.

3. Remove the cable from the hole in the brake shield.

4. Loosen the lock nut and the equalizer adjusting nut.

5. Remove the equalizer from the rod and...

6....remove the cable tip from it.

7. Using a screwdriver, remove the cable sheath end sleeve from the bracket.

8. Bend the three clamps and remove the cable. Install the new cable in the reverse order of removal and adjust its tension.
