Master brake cylinder: 1 - cork; 2 - cylinder body; 3 - fitting; 4 - protective cap; 5 - piston lock screws
1. Unscrew the two locking screws of the brake cylinder pistons and remove them with sealing washers.
2. Remove the protective cap from the cylinder body.
3. Remove the plug from the cylinder body and...
4....remove it together with the sealing washer while holding the spring.
5. Remove the rear brake piston return spring from the cylinder body.
6. Remove the cup from the piston of the rear brake drive and...
7.... the pressure spring of the piston sealing ring.
8. Take out the piston of a drive of back brakes in gathering with sealing and spacer rings.
9. Move the front brake actuator piston with a screwdriver for further disassembly.
10. Remove the O-ring and washer from the cylinder body.
Replace the o-rings every time you disassemble the master cylinder (shown by arrows) new, even if they are in good condition.
The second sealing ring of the piston of a drive of forward brakes (from the rod end of the master cylinder) has two working edges. When assembling, pay special attention to their condition.
11. Remove the front brake piston return spring.
12. Remove the cup and...
13.... the O-ring retainer spring.
14. Take out the piston of a drive of forward brakes in gathering with sealing and spacer rings.
15. Pry off the lock washer with a thin screwdriver and remove it.
16. Remove the fitting with sealing gasket from the cylinder body.
17. Remove the gasket from the fitting.
18. Remove the seal from the rear brake drive piston and...
19.... spacer rings.
20. Remove the seal from the front brake drive piston...
21.... spacer and...
22....the second O-ring.
23. Check the condition of the pistons and master cylinder housing. Cracks, scuff marks, risks, etc. on work surfaces are not allowed. The protective cap must not have cracks or breaks in the rubber.
24. Flush all parts with clean brake fluid of the same brand used in your vehicle's brake system.
25. Assemble the master brake cylinder in the reverse order of disassembly. Before installation all details of the main brake cylinder moisten with a brake liquid.
Attention! Do not allow parts to come into contact with mineral and synthetic oils, kerosene, gasoline and diesel fuel: they can damage the sealing rings.
