Before starting work: Disconnect the wire from the terminal "–" battery.
The wiper motor is fixed to the rear door with two bolts and a nut (under the windshield wiper blade).
The geared motors of the windshield and rear door glass cleaners are similar in design and differ only in the design of the gear cover (rear door wiper gearmotor cover has an element for attaching it to the door). Gearmotor repair see subsection 8.8.2.
1. Pull the windshield wiper blade away from the glass...
2.... unscrew the leash fastening nut and...
3.... remove the leash with the brush assembly from the wiper motor gear shaft.
4. Remove the rubber cover from the gearmotor shaft.
5. Loosen the nut securing the gearmotor to the rear door.
6. Mark the wires and their connection points to the block.
7. Disconnect the wires from the block.
8. Disconnect from a back door the holder of wires.
9. Unscrew the two bolts securing the gearmotor to the rear door and...
10.... remove the motor reducer from the car. Install the motor reducer in the reverse order of removal.
