Replacing the alternator drive belt (VAZ-11113)

You will need:

• keys "17" and "19"
• mounting blade

1. Loosen the nut securing the generator to the bracket and...



2....the nut that secures the generator to the tension bar.



3. Using a tire iron, position the generator toward the cylinder block.



4. Remove the old belt from the alternator pulleys and the alternator drive on the crankshaft.

5. Place the new belt on the alternator drive pulley, then...



6....on the generator pulley. After that, adjust the belt tension (see subsection 3.13.).
