Removal and installation seats (VAZ-2101)

To remove the front seat, move it all the way back, unscrew the stop screw and unscrew the nut of the bolt that secures the runner rail to the floor. Do the same, having first moved the seat all the way forward. Now the seat can be removed.

Since the rear seat consists of a cushion and a backrest, first remove the cushion, which is secured with two pins located on the floor crossbar (the cushion is put on the spikes with two holes). To remove the cushion, simply press the front edge of the cushion with your hand and lift the cushion up with your other hand. By removing the cushion, you will have free access to the two tongues of the rear seat back frame. Bend the tongues, release them from the brackets located on the rear wheel arches, and, lifting the back, remove the two planks of the back frame from the brackets of the rear shelf of the body. Installation is performed in the reverse order.
