Removal and installation the oil pump (VAZ-21011)

1. If only the oil pump needs to be repaired, place the vehicle on a lift or inspection pit, disconnect the wires from the battery and drain the oil from the engine crankcase.

2. Remove the engine splash guard, unscrew the nuts securing the front engine mount cushions to the crossmember and slightly lift the engine with a hoist.

3. After unscrewing the mounting bolts, remove the engine crankcase and oil pump with the intake pipe.

4. Perform the operations for installing the oil pump on the engine in the reverse order of removal.
