Engine oil change (VAZ-21011)

1. The oil must be changed on a hot engine. To completely drain the oil, you must wait at least 10 minutes after opening the drain hole.



2. When changing the oil, you should also change the oil filter, which is removed using the A.60312 tool. When installing the filter, tighten it manually.

3. When changing the oil, it is recommended to flush the lubrication system, for which:

• after stopping the engine, drain the used oil and, without removing the oil filter, fill with VNIINP-FD flushing oil up to the "MIN" mark on the oil level indicator (2.9 l);
• start the engine and let it run on this oil for 10 minutes at minimum idle speed;
• drain the flushing oil completely and remove the old oil filter;
• install a new filter and fill with oil appropriate for the season.
