
2. Place the front propeller shaft in a vice. Remove the retaining rings.
Caution! Before disassembling the cardan joints, mark the retaining rings and corresponding forks so that the rings can be installed in their original places during assembly.

3. Press the bearing housings out of the universal joint fork using clamp 3 67.7823.9522 (1 – needle bearing, 2 – universal joint fork) or a punch and hammer.

4. Loosen the nut securing the cardan joint fork to the front shaft. Remove the fork with puller 1 A.40005/1/5 (2 – puller levers; 3 – front propeller shaft fork; 4 – front propeller shaft).

5. Under the press, using the lining half-rings, remove the intermediate support from the front shaft in combination with the bearing and dust deflector (1-spline end of the front driveshaft; 2 – intermediate elastic support; 3 – backing half rings; 4 – punch press).

6. To disassemble the intermediate support, remove the retaining ring (1 – retaining ring; 2 – bearing; 3 – elastic support).

7. Using puller A.40005/2/4/11, press the bearing out of the support (1 – bar A.40005/2; 2 – paws A.40005/11; 3 – puller A.40005/4; 4 – paw; 5 – elastic support).
8. Disassemble the rear shaft using the techniques described above.
