Consists of a connector secured to the steering shaft bracket and two switches. The left switch operates the turn signals, headlights and parking lights, while the right one controls the windshield washer and wipers. The switches are secured to the connector with two spring clips. To replace a damaged switch (right or left) remove the steering gear shaft casing, squeeze the switch latches and remove it from the connector. The positions of the switch levers are shown in Figure 149, and the contacts closed in this case are shown in Table 24.
