The 43.3747 type flasher relay is installed in the mounting block. It is used to create an intermittent light signal of the direction indicators both in the hazard warning mode and in the direction indicator mode. In addition, it allows you to monitor the serviceability of the direction indicator lamps. So, if one of the direction indicator lamps burns out, the frequency of switching on and off the direction indicators doubles. The direction indicator control lamp also flashes with double the frequency.
The flasher relay must ensure flashing of the direction indicator lamps at a frequency of 90±30 cycles per minute at an ambient temperature of -40 to +65°C and a voltage of 10.8 to 15 V.
