Notes:
- Remove the brake drum and brake shoes (see subsection 8.2.).
- Replacing the wheel cylinder seals requires a special tool. Therefore, it is easier to replace the wheel cylinder assembly.

If you notice signs of brake fluid leakage on the brake drum and the inside of the wheel, replace the wheel cylinder.

1. Unscrew the pipe fastening fitting to the wheel cylinder. Plug the pipe opening, then unscrew the two fastening bolts and remove the wheel cylinder.
2. Install the wheel cylinder in the reverse order of removal. After that, bleed the brake mechanism of the wheel being repaired.
