1 - check valve
Notes. To check the vacuum booster on the car, press the brake pedal 5-6 times. Then, keeping the pedal depressed, start the engine. If at the same time you feel a push down on the pedal, then the vacuum booster is working. Otherwise, check the tightness of the connection of the vacuum hose with the check valve and the fitting of the engine intake pipe, as well as the tightness of the fastening of the check valve in the amplifier housing. Repair leaks if necessary. If this does not help, then the vacuum booster is faulty and must be replaced.
1. From inside the passenger compartment, remove the retaining clip from the brake pedal pin.
2. Remove the brake pedal pin, thereby disconnecting the pusher of the vacuum booster from the pedal.
3. Disconnect the hose from the non-return valve and unscrew the two nuts securing the brake master cylinder to the vacuum booster and take it aside, being careful not to damage the pipelines.
4. Turn away four nuts of fastening of an arm and remove an arm with the vacuum amplifier. Unscrew the two fastening nuts and remove the vacuum booster from the bracket.
5. Install the vacuum booster in the reverse order of removal.
