Before you begin:
- place the vehicle on a lift, overpass or inspection pit;
- clean the pressure regulator from dirt.
Note: If the pressure regulator is adjusted correctly, when braking on a level section of the road with a hard surface, the front wheels should lock slightly before the rear ones. If the rear wheels lock before the front ones, the pressure regulator is not adjusted or is faulty. In this case, we recommend contacting a service station.

1. Check if brake fluid is leaking from the pressure regulator.

2. Check that the plug is recessed by 1–2 mm.

3. Shake the earring. There should be no play in the connections of the earring with the elastic lever and the bracket on the rear suspension beam.

4. Ask an assistant to press the brake pedal. The regulator piston should move out of the housing by 1.6–2.4 mm, compressing the leaf spring until it rests against the lever.
5. If at least one of these conditions is not met, the regulator is faulty. Contact specialists to repair or replace it.
