Notes:
- Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery. Drain the brake fluid from the system.
- Overhauling the master cylinder often does not produce the desired results, so it is recommended to replace the master cylinder assembly.

1. Disconnect the wiring harness from the brake fluid level sensor located in the reservoir cap.

2. Disconnect the brake lines from the master cylinder by unscrewing the fittings that secure them. Then unscrew the two mounting nuts and remove the master cylinder.
3. Install the master cylinder in the reverse order of removal. Tightening torque of the brake pipe fastening fittings (see Appendix 3). After this, pour fresh brake fluid into the reservoir and bleed the system.
