Warning! Apply the parking brake and chock the rear wheels. Raise the front of the vehicle and place it on supports. Remove the wheel.
Attention! Wash and dry the brake mechanism.

1. Use a screwdriver to bend back the tabs of the lock washers on the two guide pin mounting bolts.

2. Loosen the lower guide pin mounting bolt, holding it with a hex key.

3. Remove the caliper with the wheel cylinder from the base.

4. Lift the caliper up and unscrew the upper mounting bolt in the same way.

5. Hang the caliper with the wheel cylinder on the wire to the front suspension spring. Make sure that the brake hose is not twisted or too tight.

6. Remove the brake pads. Mark the pads so that you can install them in their original locations.
