Front suspension telescopic strut: 1 - spring; 2 - protective cover; 3 - upper spring cup; 4 - upper support of the rack; 5 - support compression stroke limiter; 6 - compression buffer; 7 - shock absorber rod; 8 - rack body
1. Place the clamps on the spring and compress it slightly.
2. Loosen the nut securing the upper support of the strut, holding the shock absorber rod by the flats from turning with a second key.
Note: Flats on the shock absorber rod.
3. Remove the support compression stroke limiter.
4. Remove the upper strut support with bearing.
5. Remove the upper spring cup.
6. Carefully remove the spring.
7. Remove the compression buffer with the protective cover.
