Frequency of inspection
The tightness and condition of the fuel system hoses are checked every 15,000 km.
Inspect the hose connections to the fuel system components. If there is a leak in these areas, tighten the clamps or replace them if necessary.
Inspect the hoses along their entire length and replace any that are torn, cracked or have lost elasticity.
If fuel is leaking from the carburetor, fuel pump or fuel tank, contact a professional or chapter 11.

It is recommended to carry out the check on an inspection pit, a lift, or by raising the car with a jack and placing it on supports.

1. Fine fuel filter hoses in the engine compartment.

2. Hoses on the fuel pump, in the engine compartment.

3. Fuel pump hose and fuel return hose on the carburetor, in the engine compartment.

4. Fuel return valve hoses, in the engine compartment.

5. Inspect the fuel lines along their entire length from underneath the vehicle. Replace any damaged fuel lines, as they may be leaking fuel.

6. Hoses between the fuel lines and the fuel tank, underneath the vehicle.
