Check frequency
The tightness and condition of the fuel system hoses are checked every 15,000 km.
Inspect the hose attachments to the power system components. If there are leaks in these places, tighten the clamps or replace them if necessary.
Inspect hoses along their entire length, replace any that are torn, cracked or have lost elasticity.
If fuel is leaking from the carburetor, fuel pump, or fuel tank, contact a specialist or chapter 11.
Checking is recommended to be carried out on a viewing ditch, a lift or by lifting the car with a jack and placing it on supports.
1. Fine fuel filter hoses, in the engine compartment.
2. Hoses on the fuel pump, in the engine compartment.
3. The hose from the fuel pump and the fuel return hose on the carburetor, in the engine compartment.
4. Fuel return valve hoses, in the engine compartment.
5. From the bottom of the car, inspect the fuel lines along their entire length. Replace damaged fuel lines as they may leak fuel.
6. Hoses between the fuel lines and the fuel tank, on the bottom of the car.
